One thing I notice in battle tree that might be different from last gen is that if both are down to their last pokemon and after taking them out, you also die from destiny bond, it still counts as your win. Plumeria's mega gengar did this to my mega mence and my thought my streak was over but...

I love this thing. Cannot be bothered wasting any time grinding BP for power items or on ev training battles. Just throw them in pelago and go do something else. Beat feature of Gen vii along with the PC iv checking.

A little thing I thought was neat. Morimoto in Sun brings out his jolteon on my ash greninja after I ko'd his kangaskhan. He immediatedly double switches to vaporeon, correctly predicting the surf. Small but it made me smile :)

Yeah I agree with all of this. Still a cool pokemon in terms of design. He at least has the rare stealth rock + taunt + >110 base speed combo along with Azelf and Aerodactyl. Give him a sash and he at least does this fine. One can only hope he gets something from future move tutors though.

Soft resetted for an essentially perfect modest nature magearna but it's so hard to settle on an ev spread for this girl. What seems to be the consensus on this? I was leaning towards just going max spatk and speed with shift gear though.

In sun/moon, if you don't get lucky with Pickup by randomly finding a destiny knot, the amount of crap and frustration you have to endure as you very slowly acquire BP with your crappy in game team in just ridiculous. I'm docking a full point for that but the game still gets a solid 7.5/10.

Having playtested on battle spot, Sparkling aria actually proved very useful for the odd sub stalling mon (specifically, aegislash and celesteela). Specs does indeed seem ideal for this mon. Tank a hit if needed and hit back real hard. Would recommend a couple of evs just to speed creep...

This is really the future of this mon. Once the offensive phase dies down what will be left over is an especially nasty toxic staller that cripples every member of OU stall minus mega sab and gliscor. Really cool pokemon.
