I have to save, back up and collect one egg at a time.

No I just have one save with me before I collect the egg. I just reset and collect that egg over and over again. Same stats but different ESV.

after this, one more and then I'm going to my current save. I try to keep the numbers small so this process doesn't last long

Normally I'd do it the old fashioned way but I don't have the patience to do that atm. I can catch you up on all this new stuff if you want.

btw, you need to re-check the sv on those egg. I put them inside my pc box and possibly re-arrange them .

I will right now, they are all the same egg so it doesn't really matter. Just different SV

so instead of 30 eggs and maybe 5-6 matched perfect iv , you narrowed it down to 4 egg with perfect iv , correct?

Yup pretty much. This method is pretty handy for incense babies too because without an everstone attached the nature is locked in too.
