Core 3 obv.
dont want to say core is bad because it isnt, but Arii team dont get walled by that core because Iron Defense Skarmory is gimmick and Arii have taunt users / almost everyting set up boosts, I would agree if Skarm were Counter, but its a vote phase now, gl.

If core 1 didn't have iron def skarm or seismic chans maybe i'd vote for it but im going for Core 3. Core 2 is nice, obviously but i'm a succ-er for 7sss. Core 4 can't touch pdon but otherwise is ok

Core 1. Even if the Skarm set is gimmicky. I still think it covers pretty much every threats better than the other cores

Voting for Core 3:
A core involving three Pokemon while may be effective but is stretchy imo. A team built around that core is bound to be dropped by Mega Gengar. A Skarmory set lacking Spikes is something I cannot agree with. I do recognize the advantage of running that set tho.

Congratulations to Yuga42 for winning this round of Break This Team after withing a fun tie-breaker series versus Jhonx~ . The OP will be updated with both your cores as this was a very close round.

Here's the team for Round 14:

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 8 SpD / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Fake Out
- Foul Play

- Brave Bird
- Recover
- Toxic

Lugia @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 204 Spe
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Whirlwind

Arceus-Ground @ Earth Plate
Ability: Multitype

Timid Nature

Blissey @ Shed Shell
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Heal Bell

Thimo's Ditto Stall was built around the core of Mega Sableye + Ditto + Ho-Oh which in theory is able to beat every stall team thanks to infinite PP and health. Arceus-Ground functions as the Defog user while Blissey is performs the role of a cleric as well as checking a huge range of threats between them. Lugia acts as the phazer for the team and checks Swords Dance Arceus-Ground which otherwise can be annoying for stall teams.

Deadline for submitting cores for this round is 1st October 10pm GMT +3. Good luck!

well because omfuga is a fucker and shamelessy stole my core i'm reserving godthitelle + ziggy / don

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 160 Atk / 152 SpD / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Precipice Blades
- Fire Punch
- Swords Dance
- Stealth Rock

Gothitelle (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag

Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Confide
- Charm
- Taunt
- Rest

Salamence-Mega @ Salamencite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Double-Edge
- Facade
- Dragon Dance
- Roost

(used sample sets from the calc)

here groudon 2HKOs everything bar lugia, the only other reliable answer is arceus-ground that outspeeds and heavily threatens it thanks to super effective judgement.
the gameplan is pretty simple, you bring don (or salamence as it 2HKO's everything aswell lol), you force your opp to bring lugia and arceus and you just trap them with gothitelle when they will try to sustain the previous hits.
i used mence because it checks ditto when transformed into groudon but you can use thing like ziggy aswell).

note: sr-heal bell diancie is pretty good in this match up aswell.
you can also run heal bell over charm on goth or stone edge on groudon.

Kyogre-Primal @ Blue Orb
Ability: Primordial Sea
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Thunder

Xerneas @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 176 Def / 84 SpA / 248 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic

Ogre KOs or 2hkos every mon on this team with waterfall except lugia. If you thunder para lugia you basically win by clicking waterfall. Xerneas as a cleric but can also status lugia/ho-oh. Alternatively toxic>eq or thunder on kyogre accomplishes the same thing but quicker

BTW I posted this before exiline but have laggy internet lol.

Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt

Arceus-Fairy @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Judgment
- Magic Coat
- Recover
- Stealth Rock

Got sniped on Mixed POgre but oh well. Mega Gyarados dismantles this team pretty handily as nothing threatens it after Taunt. Ditto stops it from cleanly setting up and sweeping (though Gyarados can forgoe setting up and just attack to wear this team down just fine) so I added Arceus-Fairy to prevent countersweeping but also to set up Stealth Rock against the opposing Sableye. Toxic was not used to prevent copied Arceus-Fairy from being too annoying, this set is generally used more as a counter-lead for Hyper Offense but can be useful to bounce back Blissey's hazards against this particular team.

Arceus-Rock @ Stone Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Judgment
- Recover
- Calm Mind
- Refresh

Ho-Oh @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Toxic
- Recover

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 108 Atk / 152 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Defog
- Roost

The only thing on the stall team, which stops Calm Mind Arceus Rock from winning is Arceus Ground, which ho-oh can freely switch into. Ho-oh has the ability to really punish the other members. Scizor Defogs in the majority on the team, since rocks are the biggest thread to ho-oh. A Mega-Sableye would also do, since it can get freely in on blissey, but i thought its too much of a stallfest then

OR

Arceus-Fairy @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Judgment
- Toxic

AND

Gothitelle @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rest
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Heal Bell / Taunt

I'd argue Arceus-Fairy is easier to build with. This team is totally unprepared for SR mons strong vs Mega Sableye. It's tempting to say that this team can't even handle Arceus-Fairy on its own but that's pushing it. Diancie dominates Lugia/Ho-oh too so it might be better in this match up. Any set on Goth is fine really. You can try Miracle Eye to get around Msab but I doubt it matters since Lugia etc.

This team will also not handle Ho-oh in the long run, especially when paired with Mega Sableye.

And yeah, Kyogre literally 6-0es as Omfuga already pointed out.

I 100 % disagree this team can beat opposing stall but I won't go into details there.

Leppa Bliss simply gets to a tie because the user of the team can just switch between Msab and Shed Bliss

Nice to see strong competitors participating in this round, so I may as well join. Since its a stall team for this round we have to break, I decided to use 2 mons with a great match ups against stall; Ho-Oh and Gothitelle.

Thankfully Groundceus is not heavily invested in Def to take 2 LO Brave Birds, so Ho-Oh when it comes in will 2HKOs any mons on this team barring Lugia under Multiscale with Sacred Fire or Brave Bird. It also have Thunder Wave to cripple Ditto.

Gothitelle is mainly for trapping Lugia and force Lugia to use Struggle with Taunt since Lugia lacks a single attacking move and also traps Groundceus if needed to relieve Ho-Oh from getting worn with recoil damage when attempting to assault Groundceus.

update on my Blissey set, because as Hack pointed out Blissey and Sableye together can force endless battle clause to activate, which is why I put Stealth Rock over Block on this Blissey. This prevents switching in and out, and you're not beating infinite Stealth Rock Blissey with this team.

Blissey (F) @ Leppa Berry
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell
- Recycle
- Block Stealth Rock

Disagree. Mega sableye reflects Sr then you go into lugia to subphaze opposing team until only blissey is remaining. Then, you can toxic + brave bird spam with ho-oh vs blissey which should kill with at least one crit. I'm on phone atm so I might be wrong since I can't check the calc for ho-oh vs max def blissey scenario.

edit: calc confirms that ho-oh indeed do beat blissey
