Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I've noticed on Showdown that some moves learned by certain Pokemon in BDSP or PLA do not appear in their NatDex learnset. I feel like those moves should be added so that they can have even more options to run. I see say Mega Kick for Ursaluna in NatDex but I don't see Earth Power for Toxicroak...
The leaked evos were pure deliciousness to put in my mind and acknowledge. Meowscarada, Skeledirge and Quaquaval... what a trio. Now that I know what they are, I only await the datamine to plan accordingly what moves I plan to teach them to coordinate with their stats.
Tera Blast being TM171...
I'm surprised they gave Spiritomb a Fire move and I'm dying to teach it to mine now. Entei learning Crunch was really unexpected and very welcome and with the patch, I can make it immune to Intimidate aside from flinching. I'm really liking the update but I am sad that Zapdos didn't get Air...
I was never in the competitive scene but for those who play unranked battles being able to utilize moves learnt from past gens. I'm kind of worried how will certain Pokemon patched in will be to withstand Dynamax.
So with only less than 3 weeks to go before the release of the Crown Tundra. Are you slapping moves on your Pokemon that you know it won't get when it gets transferred? I know I have to make room for a possible 5th Dragonite for Hydro Pump. I hope the tutor list and TM compatibility changes. I'm...
Not only to change the type of Hidden Power, but also have Hidden Power revamped a bit to use the user's higher attack stat, much akin to Photon Geyser. Only way to revive Hidden Power is for Unown to return for the CT, which is possibly futile.
I noticed that many of the physical Flying types got a move that's better than Aerial Ace and doesn't deal recoil like Brave Bird (Although Aerodactyl deserves the move and unfortunately doesn't get it... for now that is till the next Home datamine). I had dreamed of teaching Dual Wingbeat to...
Definitely Aura Sphere's addition is a huge plus. Of course a lot of Pokemon got Weather Ball but it is somewhat gimmicky since it requires setting up a weather or be paired with someone who sets one up via ability or Max move. Too bad it doesn't get Nature Power though it seems odd for a Raikou...
I question why Confide was spared. I find the move to be freaking useless and pointless. And Signal Beam provided coverage for some Pokemon that needed it and that sort of screwed up options for some.
Though I run Signal Beam on my Raikou currently in USUM, I can't wait to teach it Scald when...
