    99.9% of the time that something contradicts Bulbapedia, Bulbapedia is wrong. You could calc it against something to test the power, but that's the only way to figure it out in gen 2.

    If they have different Defense DVs or Special DVs (but not by 8), they are compatible, as the rule is to prevent inbreeding (the Defense DV and Special DV +/- 0 or 8 are passed from the opposite gender parent).

    If you take a poke from Gold/Silver/Crystal to the Game Freak office in Heahea City, one of the employees will give you a 1 of every Apricorn ball. I'm not sure if it's infinite (knowing Game Freak, it probably isn't), but at least it's there.

    AFAIK (I'm not too familiar with gens 1 and 2, but it's definitely this way in 3), all static legends permanently disappeared after being defeated/winning/run from (and roamers after winning or being defeated) until gen 4.

    Arcanine has a respectable triple digit SpA, and Flamethrower comes at 34 with the added advantage of no recoil if you want to try that.

    I have the old prima guide to Emerald, which definitely talks about Doubles in the Tower, though you won't face Anabel and can't get the symbol that way. Serebii says that there is Doubles in the RS Tower, though I've never been there, so I wouldn't know personally.
