Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
How good is he at trapping steels actually? I still prefer a faster trapper like Dugtrio, but I really hoped that A-Golem would be an interesting pick.
It's sad that it can't use it's "bulk" to actually be a thorn in the side of enemies. 100 in both defences is pretty neat though that rock typing leaves a lot to wish for.
Guys, thanks for your help with the team (sorry for the late reply >.< )
I've been playing with the team for a bit, and I've gotta say that I can handle the threats way better now. I still feel like I need to replace Altaria's nature to a defensive one for easy switch ins and use heal bell...

Hi there and welcome to my RMT thread. I've just started with Showdown and I made this team to play some OU games. I've had some favorable matches and some less favorable ones. This is the team that I'm using:

To keep it short, I wanted...
Sadly enough, while some pokemon with the infiltrator ability do outrun M-Mawile, they're too frail to switch in/stay in on it. And Spiritomb doesn't really have that much offensive presence to truly threaten it.
- Heatran being a primary counter, people tend to run sub punch.
- Pairing M-Mawile with something that renders Arcanine obsolete isn't that hard.
- Will o wisp is not really a solid solution, considering the rise of sub M-Mawiles to deal with status.
- Breloom won't like Play Rough.
- Even...
I think we can all agree that Mega Mawile has all the traits of a pokemon at the top of OU, therefore making it a suspect in the first place (good typing, stats that enable it to perform it's role, being blessed with a good ability, decent movepool and it's true checks/counters are confined in...
I'm praying that this time, mega evolutions will be given to pokemon that actually need it.
Also, I wonder what they plan to do with Rayquaza and the regis.
I already said that his point stood -.-; And we already knew a few pages ago that Pyraor's abysmal attack needs a moxie boost and work up in able to do something close to sweeping.
On topic, I wonder if Pyraor would have been slightly better if it boasted a bigger special movepool. I meanI...
No, not H. I mean it's obscure little brother, the defensive lawnmower Rotom. However, mixed sets obliberate him using sludge bomb. I'm jot sure if rotom-H gets the job done. It does like the whole EQ coverage Venu has.
