Any answers for this? I've tried many times and am not hitting my seeds.
  2. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Tried the Adjacent Seed Tool, I'm not getting any predicted seeds. What else could be wrong?

I've calibrated EonTimer, so I'll give the Adjacent Seed Generator a try.

Back again! Found my most common Timer0's, they all occur roughly 1/3 of the time. Tried to verify my seed as quickly as I could: Black 2, Unova Route 20, search with the 5th gen Timer Finder PIDRNG method for Shiny Frames requiring 0 advances, and chose a seed/time to hit that required one of...

So now that I've found my most common Timer0(s), what use does that have?
  6. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Thanks, getting actual results now, and a credible Timer0 range.
  7. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

I mean that the results when I input my Unova Link spinners were either inconsistent or non-existent. Shiny finder says it's because I'm using 9.96.5, and I can't find a link for 9.96.6.
  8. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Thanks! I can't find 9.96.6 anywhere, so I'll stick with pokecheck, or play further into the game until I reach good IV ranges.

I've already read through the beginning of that guide, but I went through again. So I tried to find my DS parameters again, but it was mentioned here that I should do it at least 30 times, so I tried using the Unova Link method to find my most common Timer0, but after trying about 5 times, I...
  10. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

So what should I do now to find my most common Timer0, the Unova Link calibration by doing the whole "note down the spinner position about 5 or 6 times, then restart" about 30 times? Also, once I have my most common Timer0, what then? How do I hit a seed that has that specific Timer0?
  11. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

How do I find what Timer0 I'm hitting? After I found my parameters, RNG Reporter told me that my Timer0 range is 167C - 167C. Also, I'm using seeds that are specifically no keypresses.
  12. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Thanks, I'll stick with one seed then and keep trying it out. How can I find what Timer0 occurs more often? When I found my DS parameters, my range only included one value.
  13. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Okay, I'll try it out more and see if it works more than 1/8 of the time. What is Timer0, and how temperamental is it? I've tried about 10 seeds now and only 1 gave the expected results.
  14. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Tried it 3 times and got it once, most likely out of luck. Does this mean that I have the wrong DS parameters, or am I messing something else up?
  15. 5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Okay, I'll give that a try. In case Pokebank comes out soon and I get some Chatot onto here, I assume the Chatot test is making sure the pitches match up with what is predicted in RNG Reporter? Not sure, I should have done that when I first found parameters. I suppose I'll double-check that...
